Reflection on the Road
& White is an exceptional international music exhibit as seen through the lens of Al Abrams, Motown’s young press officer. Al moved behind the scenes to create the hustle and hype for two major, historically important,
record labels. As a press officer, Al was given the responsibility to document history, protect the labels and artists and keep secrets.
Music was his adrenalin.
Music brings together generations. Music opens conversation.
Motown Black & White is a timeless historical exhibit that teaches a humanitarian lesson
by introducing the crossover music that changed the color of the dance floor and influenced a Movement for Civil Rights.
